Before you come
Booking, parking, the menu and what languages we can handle — the questions we are asked most at Woojujip Hongdae.
Can I make a reservation?
Yes — by phone. Call 02-323-9282 (+82-2-323-9282 from abroad) and we will confirm the party size and time. You can also check the listing on Naver Place and Google Maps.
What are the opening hours and the last order?
We open at 13:30 and close at 23:40, every day. Last order is 22:50. The hours are the same on every day of the week.
What is the signature dish?
Tosi-jumulleok (170g, ₩26,000) — hanging tender, a cut that yields only a small amount per animal, marinated 24 hours in our own sauce for a soft texture and a sweet-savoury balance. It is marked BEST on the menu board.
Is there a minimum order?
The first order is for a minimum of 2 servings. This is printed on the menu; there is no minimum on anything you order after that.
Are there English, Japanese or Chinese menus?
Yes. Printed menus are available in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese, with both dish names and descriptions translated, so a first-time overseas guest can order straight away. You can also preview the actual menu boards on the Menu page of this site.
Do you grill the meat for us?
Yes — staff help grill the meat at your table, so a first visit or an unfamiliar grill is never a problem. Ice cream is served at the end of the meal.
Which subway station is closest?
Hongik Univ. Station (Line 2, AREX and the Gyeongui–Jungang line) is about an 8-minute walk. Hapjeong Station (Lines 2 and 6) is about 12 minutes on foot. We sit on a Seogyo-dong lane between the two.
Can you take a group or a company dinner?
Yes. The room is modern and comfortable, and it works for a small gathering, a family dinner or a larger party. For bigger groups please call 02-323-9282 ahead so we can check seating. For two or three people the Korean pork assorted set (600g, ₩65,000) is built for sharing.
